NCLT/NCLAT Practice
The Companies Act of 2013 has superseded the Companies Act of 1956. It has altered India's business practices in a number of ways. It has presented a number of difficulties for Delhi's corporate lawyers. There is no longer a Company Law Board. There is now a National Company Law Tribunal. An appeal from a firm may also be heard by the NCLAT. Changes to the 2013 Companies Act eliminated the High Court's authority over companies.
Eleven Benches have been established by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in the first phase. There is one Principal Bench located in New Delhi and one Regional Bench each in Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and New Delhi. We mostly practice in New Delhi, although in the past, we appeared before every NCLT in the nation. On the other hand, the Principal court of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunals (NCLAT) in New Delhi and a second court in Chennai are the two appellate authorities. Our primary area of practice is company law. Mr. Singh, one of the "best corporate lawyers in Delhi, India," is in charge of our NCLT/NCLAT team of corporate lawyers, who have a great deal of expertise, are well-equipped, and stay up to date.
